These special ceramic ornaments are made by artist Emily Counts in her Seattle studio, St. Eloy. Each piece is formed by hand using stoneware and decorated by hand. Due to the handmade process, each piece is entirely unique so no two are alike. The inspiration for this years' collection comes from vintage fabrics, hand-printed papers, sketchbooks, and ceramic heirlooms.
Leaving Emily's ornaments out all year 'round is never in question. We most certainly do it. We hang them on a doorknob (that is not often used) or on a hook on the wall to remind us that life is exquisite and festive and we are here to notice and appreciate that fact.
Please Note - Each of Emily's ornaments are one-of-a-kind. We can try to get you a color family that you would like but we cannot promise. If you have a preference, please leave us a note in your order upon checkout and we will do our best!
